About BlackBox
BlackBox Migrations, LLC (d/b/a BlackBox Partners) was begun in 2005 to offer training and consulting to industry and government. BlackBox is a member of the Project Management Training Alliance (PMTA), teaching courses in alignment with PMTA, the Project Management Institute PMI®, and ISO standards. BlackBox is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVSB) certified by the Center for Veterans’ Enterprise (CVE).
Our instructors for project management courses are Project Management Professionals (PMPs) certified by the PMI® with significant experience training diverse audiences in commercial, governmental, and non-profit environments. We bring a depth of knowledge of the standards, expertise in standard practices, and real-world experience in applying standard methodology to unique projects.
BlackBox Partners has over 15 years of experience training professionals in governmental and commercial organizations world-wide. We have taught across the United States and throughout the world in over two dozen foreign countries. We have experience teaching junior staff, executives, non-native English speakers, uniformed military, and highly-technical staff. By using deeply experienced instructors BlackBox is able to bring real-world examples of project management and technical situations that illuminate the theory being taught in class. We work with clients to tailor materials to local circumstances and add processes (Health, Safety, & Environment and Logistics) that are absent from standard PMI® approaches.
BlackBox Partners consulting engagements usually have to do with supporting project managers and Project Management Offices (PMOs) through assessing project management maturity, remediating issues with PMOs, or helping set up PMOs.We are skilled in mapping project management processes and improving them for organizations.
